Be in customers’ shoes

Many people complain that their promotional campaigns don’t bear fruit. They spend much money on advertising and promotional products and see that their sales don’t increase. But there are a couple of things that every person who participates in planning of a campaign and in choosing items should understand. What are they?

The way many businessmen choose promotional items is extremely funny. Many of them think that it is enough to buy logo tshirts and the job is done. But this is a very big mistake. Well, T-shirts do work and attract customers, but if a person buys your product on a regular basis one t-shirt is not enough. They want to see something really valuable or tasty to understand that they are appreciated. Something like golf gifts or logo cookies would be fine.

Put yourselves in your customers’ shoes. How happy would you be if you were presented something cheap and unnecessary? You would never come to buy anything again. Which means the failure of a promotional campaign. And now ask yourself: how many customers have I lost during my latest promo campaign? How much money did I spent on promo items? Many of us will see that they could do everything much better. That’s why you should always think of the way others feel towards promo items.
